Cabin Rules

Maximum Occupancy

Maximum occupancy is 6 guests

Maintenance

Upon arrival, please report any problems or damages in or outside of the cabin. If maintenance needs arise during your stay, please contact the owners. It may be necessary for someone to enter the cabin during reasonable hours to perform minor repairs.

Toilets: Do not flush anything but Toilet Paper. All feminine hygiene products, paper towel, diapers or facial tissue need to be thrown in the trash cans.

Quiet Time: 10 PM to 8 AM

Our cabin is in a quiet and tranquil community. Please be respectful and courteous to our neighbors. No loud noise, tents, loud music, discharging of firearms, fireworks, house parties nor obnoxious, dangerous, or unlawful behavior will be tolerated.

NO SMOKING

Smoking is prohibited on the property. This includes inside and outside. You may smoke in your vehicle but that will be the only option.

Dogs (with prior approval)

Please keep your dog on a leash when outside the cabin and clean up after them. Do not leave your dog unattended in the cabin unless they are kept in a kennel. NO DOGS on the beds. No excessive barking. Aggressive dogs are not welcome.

Wildlife

Please be respectful of our wildlife – this is their home too. Do not allow your dogs to chase or bark continually.

Minimum Age Required

Minimum age to rent the cabin is 25 years and the person who books the cabin must stay at the cabin for the entire rental period. Sub-letting or parents renting for their children under the age of 25 is NOT allowed. No student groups or house parties of any kind.

Wi-Fi

There is none. Enjoy your time offline. However, if you must, most cellular networks work well in the area.

Check-in Time: 2:00 PM
Check-out Time: 11:00 AM or earlier

Check-in Information

Please report any problems or damages in or outside of the cabin. If maintenance needs arise during your stay, please contact the owners (806-236-0122). It may be necessary for someone to enter the cabin during reasonable hours to perform minor repairs.

Water: The cabin is on well water and can have an odor. It may be more noticeable if the cabin has gone unused for several days. Run hot water in the tub and cold water through the kitchen faucet for 10 minutes. We shower, clean and do laundry with it but we prefer to drink and cook with the bottled water provided.

Check-out Procedures

  1. Property left neat and in order
  2. Dishes, pots, pans, silverware, utensils and coffee pot should be washed and put away
  3. Clean all BBQ tools and make sure the BBQ is put away securely in the box on the deck
  4. Do not leave any perishable food items in the cabin when you check out
  5. Strip beds, place sheets and pillow cases in laundry basket on top of washing machine. Place all wet towels in the bathtub/shower
  6. Reset the thermostat to 50 degrees when you leave
  7. Turn off all lights/fans and TV
  8. Please lock the cabin – doors and windows
  9. Take TRASH with you. There is no garbage service at the cabin. Dumpsters are located where you turned off the main highway, across from the Post Office. This is BEAR country so please DO NOT leave trash on the deck, even overnight
